Institutional Advancement at Villanova is responsible for a range of
activities which provide the framework for building strong support and lasting
relationships with a variety of University constituencies, including alumni,
parents, friends, and members of the community.
Institutional Advancement seeks to advance public understanding, build and
strengthen lifelong relationships, and enhance philanthropy in support of
Villanova University. To accomplish these goals, Institutional Advancement is
comprised of two offices each of which reports to the Vice President for
Institutional Advancement:
The Office of Alumni Affairs directs and supports the Villanova University
Alumni Association and its mission of sustaining a lifelong relationship with
the University’s 90,000 alumni. Through regional events, on-campus programming,
member benefits, electronic communication and its 65 alumni chapters worldwide,
the Alumni Association provides alumni with opportunities to network, offer
volunteer service , support current Villanova students and strengthen their
connection with Villanova University.
The Office of University Development:
The Development office works to create and maintain relationships with
Villanova alumni, parents, and friends, as well as corporations and
foundations, which provide support for the University and its programs.
