The Distinguished Service Award will be presented to an alumnus/a who has diligently and faithfully served the Villanova University Alumni Association over an extended period of time.

Eligibility

1. The alumnus/alumna may have served as a chapter member or officer, board committee member or board member. Current board members are not eligible.
2. Nominees may have served the Association on either a national or local level.
3. Nominees can be nominated by any alumnus/a active in the Villanova University Alumni Association, within a chapter, society or Board of Directors.

Nomination Process

1. Submit a one-page typed Nomination Summary of the nominee’s achievements and accomplishments. This summary should include the name and class year of the nominees and the name, class year, address and telephone number of the person submitting the nomination.
2. Two additional pages of supporting documentation can be submitted with the one-page Nomination Summary. Supporting documents may include: resume, press clippings, correspondence.
3. The Nomination Summary and supporting documents should be submitted to the Villanova University Alumni Association Office.
