The VUAA's 60+ alumni chapters require teams of alumni volunteers to

Recruit Prospective Students
Alumni interested in assisting the Office of University Admission with recruiting
prospective students can serve as volunteers of the Alumni Recruiting Network
(ARN). ARN area coordinators staff Villanova information booths at college
fairs and plan field receptions for accepted students in their area. The
ARN area coordinator is the primary admission volunteer in a geographic
area and serves as a member of the chapter's leadership council. For more

University Senate
Alumni may serve as one of two elected representatives to the
University
Senate or as appointed members on the following Senate committees:
- Rules & Review
- Athletic Advisory
- Mission & Social Justice
- Student Life
- Budget
Alumni serve a two year term and must be able to attend meetings held
several times on campus each semester. Email a cover letter stating your
interest in the University Senate and a current resume to:

If you will be celebrating a special reunion (every five years) you can
volunteer to be a member of your reunion class committee. You will be asked
to organize an effort to contact your classmates to encourage their participation
in
Reunion Weekend. Contact

express your volunteer interest.
Reunion Class Gift Volunteer
Work with the Office of University Development to promote Villanova's Annual
Fund and to encourage your classmates to make a contribution in honor of
your Reunion. For more information contact

Host a New Student Reception
Chapters of the Alumni Association host summer receptions for new
students and their parents across the country to welcome them into the
Villanova community. If you are interested in hosting a new student
reception at your home, please contact
the Alumni Office.
Community
Service
Participate in one of our chapter's community service projects! Visit
our
Events Calendar and search for activities in your area.
If you'd like to organize a community service project for your
chapter, contact your local
chapter president.
Sponsor an Internship
Villanova students thrive in the workplace and receive valuable hands
on experience during the course of their Villanova education. It is
imperative that we provide them with appropriate real world experiences
to supplement their classroom work. If you are in a position to offer a
semester or summer internship in your company please go to the
Networking Section of the VUAA website.
