International Conference: April 2-4, 2009

The Center for Arab and Islamic Studies will be celebrating its 25th anniversary and on this occasion it is hosting a major international conference, titled:

"Mirror Images: Challenges for Arab and Islamic Studies"

The keynote address will be delivered by Juan R.I. Cole, Richard P. Mitchell Collegiate Professor of History, University of Michigan, President of the Global Americana Institute.

In addition to formal scholarly sessions there will be roundtable discussions, workshops and cultural events.
