Weekly Seminars

Our Biology seminar series involves research presentations by invited speakers from throughout the middle states region, and occasionally from further afield. Seminars take place weekly (usually Thursdays at 5 pm) beginning early in each semester. Seminar topics represent a wide range of topics across biology, and all are open to the public.

Departmental Undergraduate Awards

The Department of Biology recognizes outstanding academic performance and presents medallions and awards to deserving Biology majors at the end of each academic year.  In addition we actively encourage undergraduates and graduate students to apply for student research awards that may be available.
