The Chemistry Department sponsors two student groups and one alumni group:

• The Villanova Chemistry Society is open to any and all Chemistry majors, or majors from related disciplines. The Society meets periodically to plan social events for all Chemistry majors, service projects, and other events of interest.
   
• Gamma Sigma Epsilon is the Chemistry Honor Society. Students are eligible for induction into Gamma Sig in the second semester of their Sophomore year. Students who are completing a major or minor in Chemistry or Biochemistry are eligible for membership. Students are chosen on the basis of academic achievement, citizenship, and dedication to the profession.
   
• The Alumni Society is open to all Chemistry Alumni. Alumni are informed and invited to major Departmental events, and are kept informed of major Department news and initiatives.
