At each convention the National Officers present awards to the
chapters which have been the most active, have had the greatest
all-around development, and have done the most to develop the welfare
of the Fraternity.
Method of Establishing Chapters
Chapters of Gamma Sigma Epsilon are established by the national
officers, following its approval of a petition from a local group.
There must be four or more student charter members of the group, and
the petition should include a statement of the purpose of the group,
and the scholastic requirements for election to membership of the
group. It must be signed by the members of the group, and should be
accompanied by letters from the head of the chemistry department and
the president of the college. Petitions should be sent to the
Executive President.
