"Charting Courses of Discovery" is a special series of feature articles examining the rigorous and relevant classes offered in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences written by Amanda Slattery, `10. Amanda is a first-year student from Los Angeles, California. She is an intern in the Office of Communication in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Amanda plans on studying communication, public relations, and political science. She also is a part of the Honors Program. Amanda has represented the College as a student ambassador at such events as Early Action Candidates’ Day.
