the end of their sophomore year, but must declare a major by the end of the
sophomore year.

The requirements for degrees in these majors may be found under the
departmental listings contained in the Catalog. Students must earn an overall
2.0 grade point average. Refer to the Catalog for the section on Minors, Concentrations, and
Certificates for additional information related to degree programs.
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences also offers minors in most of the
fields listed above. In addition, the College offers interdisciplinary
concentrations in the following fields: Africana Studies, Arab and Islamic
Studies, Augustine in Dialogue with Culture, Irish Studies, Latin American
Studies, Peace and Justice, Russian Area Studies, and Women’s Studies. The
requirements for these programs are listed with the departmental programs.
