- Check your e-mail often for registration information. The Registrar’s
Office will send this information to you the week following break.
- Choose your courses. You can determine which classes you still need
to complete your degree by running a degree audit for yourself (CAPP
instructions).
- Once you’ve determined the courses you would like to take, download
and complete the
schedule worksheet
.
Be sure to select alternate courses in case your desired courses are
closed.
- Make an appointment with your faculty advisor at least one week
prior to your registration time, to discuss your course selection. Be
sure to write down your registration PIN, which will be given to you
by your advisor. Without it you cannot register.
- Know your registration time and be prepared when it comes. Have
all the CRNs of the classes you want to take, as well as the alternates,
readily available.

Log onto
NOVASIS
Log into secure area.
Enter your login (your 8 digit Villanova ID) and your NOVASIS PIN.
Select:
- “Student and Financial Aid Services”, then
- “Registration”
A menu appears which gives many options including:
- “View your Advisor”
- “Check your Registration Status” (time for registration and holds, if any)
- “Log into Registration” select term, enter your Registration PIN issued by your academic advisor (sp for Spring, su for Summer, fa for Fall), follow the instructions to register
If all your chosen classes are accepted, that’s great! If not, use the CRN numbers of your back-up choices until you have completed your schedule (what is a complete schedule? Anything above 12 credits is considered full-time status, but 15-18 credits a semester is ideal).
Congratulations! You have successfully registered.
