The degree required to pursue a career in the health professions can be as varied
as the health professions themselves. An Economics major can become a Dentist and a History major can become
a Geneticist! How? Careful selection of science and elective courses will allow
you to complete the required
pre requisite classes so that you will be prepared for post graduate work. It is critical that you speak
with the Health Professions
Advisor
as soon as you have determined your interest. It is also critical that you take
a science and related lab course during your freshman year. Your
academic advisor will work closely with you in the selection of your courses.
