Website Editing

Departments, Offices and Programs within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences may maintain their own website or have the College Office of Information Technology maintain their website.

Process for submitting website updates to the Office of Information Technology

STEP 1

In your web browser, go to the webpage you would like to have edits made on. At the bottom of the page, to the left of the Villanova University logo, click Send Feedback. (see Figure 1)

This will launch your email client to send an email to us (the Arts and Sciences Webmaster account). Describe the change(s) that must be made, attaching any documents or images necessary and send the email.

STEP 2

As soon as the email is received we will begin processing the update. You will be contacted by email or phone if more information is necessary. Once the edits are completed, the Dept./ Program/ Office website contact person will receive an email (see Fig. 2) from CVS Automated Notification (the website content management system) with a link to approve or disapprove the changes made. Once approved, we will commit the webpage to the production web environment.
