Internship with Sestak for Congress
Sestak for Congress is looking for talented, organized, and motivated interns to get
personally involved in the democratic process. The election of 2008 is an excellent
opportunity to gain valuable staff skills and practical political experience while helping to

Beasley Broadcasting Inc. – Philadelphia, is offering the following internships to college
students who are interested in gaining work experience in the field of
Radio Marketing/Promotions & Broadcasting.
These are Non-Paid positions and are strictly for college credits.
Wired 96.5’s has created an internship program that will provide a hand’s on experiences in both the programming and promotion departments. We have broken the internship program up into three segments.
In-Studio:
An intern would assist our on-air talent in-studio during their show.
They will screen phone calls, take research, and assist the DJ with their production.
Office:
An intern will assist the programming or promotion departments in daily activities or duties.
Events:
An intern will go off-site and assist our promotion team with executing promotion or sales events.
We are currently seeking interns for the Summer and Fall semesters, 2008.
Although hours are flexible, students will be asked to work daytime, evening and weekend hours.

92.5 WXTU in Philadelphia, Philly's Country station, is looking for interns starting spring
semester 2008.
The ideal candidates are students who are focused on Public Relations/Marketing or
Radio Broadcasting. They are looking for students to help both in and out of the office,
here at 92.5 WXTU, assisting with the daily responsibilities and duties in radio promotions
and programming departments.

Television & Video Production at Channel 7, Lower Merion Township’s Government Access Channel
The Township of Lower Merion, a municipality in Montgomery County, is offering spring, summer,
fall and winter unpaid internship positions to qualified students pursuing a course of study in
television/video production. Channel 7, Lower Merion Township’s Government Access Channel, is
carried on Cable TV and provides news and information to nearly 20,000 cable subscribers within
While interning at Channel 7, students will be exposed to the operations and procedures of a
local government township. Many of the programs at Channel 7 support the local township’s
services i.e.: police and fire departments, parks and recreation events, library events, music
concerts, LIVE broadcasts of government meetings, etc.
Students will assist in the daily operation of the station and be assigned projects. These
projects will range from pre-production to post-production. For example, a student might be
asked to design a graphic for a program or virtual set, or edit footage together for a program,
set-up and operate cameras on location or even produce and direct a project from start to finish.
No matter what the assignment, the student will follow the standard, video industry production
procedures and be responsible for meeting and scheduling deadlines.
Candidates for this position should be well versed in basic video operation and engineering.
This internship is for those who enjoy a challenge. Interns will be responsible for the
administrative “paper work” associated with their projects.
