Since its establishment in 1986, the
Office of International Studies has encouraged students to consider the many options available for study abroad in a variety of academic programs overseas, as well as enrollment in Area Studies programs on campus. Countries as diverse as Japan, Morocco, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, China, Switzerland, India, England, Ireland and Australia have been settings where students have chosen to study.
All students wishing to study overseas must apply to the Office of International Studies located in Garrity Hall. Ordinarily students who study abroad are in their sophomore or junior year, hold a 2.75 GPA and are in good health. For study abroad students must have the approval of the Director of International Studies, their Departmental Chairperson and their College Dean. For additional information please contact
