Math Learning Resource Center

The MLRC, located in Old Falvey, second floor, is a center for student learning excellence. At the MLRC, students gather to discuss mathematics, work on group projects or study independently. During its hours of operation (Monday-Thursday, 2:30-5:00 p.m. and 6:30-9:00 p.m. and Sunday: 6:30-9:00 p.m.) the MLRC is staffed by tutors who help students with all first and second year math courses. Our computer lab has 10 computers, capable of running the mathematical software currently being used in math courses at Villanova.

There is also a comprehensive collection of tutorial software in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics and differential equations, which students may use for independent learning. Most of this software is multi-media and entertaining to use The lab is also networked and connected to the Internet. A modest video library and three TV/VCR stations round out the offerings of the MLRC. Call the MLRC at 95193, or email mlrc@villanova.edu
