Comprehensive Science Requirements

Students wishing to receive the SCI degree must attain an overall GPA of 2.00 in their science and mathematics courses (the technical cum) taken in fulfillment of their major as well as attaining an overall GPA of 2.00 in all courses. The record of any student falling below 2.00 (either overall or technical cum) in any semester will be reviewed by the Academic Standing Committee for appropriate action.

In addition each student must select seven (7) upper division science courses. These should be selected in conjunction with your advisor and form the basis of your upper division science education. Some sample programs are given at this web-site.
