Villanova University and the Department of Education and Human Services offer Post Masters work in Counseling. The Post Masters program is designed for professionals who have already completed their Master of Arts Degree in Counseling and are returning to earn additional credits for a variety of reasons. *Note: a degree from Villanova's Counseling Program is not required, simply a Master of Arts or Science Degree in Counseling from schools offering a similar degree.

The Post Masters Certification Program is a twelve (12) credit program that benefits professionals seeking academic credits for one of the following reasons:

• National Counseling Exam (NCE) Requirements
• Licensure - Act 136 - Additional Information about Licensure
• Continuing Education Credits - Act 48 - Additional Information about Act 48
• Certification: Elementary or Secondary School Counseling
