Principal Certificate Program

The Department of Education and Human Services offers a post-Masters program in educational leadership leading to K-12 principal certification.  The post-Masters program is designed for professionals who have already completed a Masters of Education Degree in educational leadership or a related area (e.g. Graduate Teacher Education).  This principal certification only program is intended primarily for practicing professionals for whom the availability of evening and summer coursework is usually deemed advantageous.  Applications' transcripts are reviewed on a case by case basis.  A minimum of 12 credits is required; up to 27 credits is required; up to 27 credits may be required depending on an applicant's previous coursework.
