Student Pennsylvania
State Education Association
Student PSEA
membership prepares teaching candidates to
assume the responsibilities of active
professional growth and collaboration in their
professional careers. Members are covered by a
million dollar insurance policy as they observe
in area classrooms. Members compete for the Lucy
Valero scholarship for student educators, and
receive two publications: Voice and
NEA Today which contain valuable
information for the future educator.
SPSEA
members develop leadership and professional
opportunities. Villanova’s chapter, in
partnership with the Rosemont College members,
invites speakers, and offer programs on topics
of interest to pre-professionals. They also
have an opportunity to attend the annual
conference for Pennsylvania chapters, to meet
active educators from around the state and
participate in workshops and presentations.
Organization of
Human Services
What is OHS? The
purpose of OHS, Organization of Human Services,
is to experience and gain knowledge of different
areas within the Human Service field. In doing
so, you will have fun and learn a lot about
yourself as you reach out to the Villanova
Community and beyond! OHS is tailored to meet
the interests of Human Service, Sociology, and
Psychology majors and minors. However, we
welcome all who are interested in the Human
Service field.
OHS strives to help
members establish a well balanced sense of
career opportunities and different aspects of
the Human Service field. Someone who is
interested in working within the field of Human
Services has plenty of wonderful options and
opportunities to do so.
