In partnership with Rosemont College, an adjoining Catholic
Liberal Arts college, Villanova offers a teacher preparation program in
Elementary Education. Students choose a Villanova major other than Education and use their electives
to take education courses at Rosemont College toward their state certification.
Students who receive their certification are eligible to teach in Pennsylvania’s
public schools and may apply to teach in other states more readily through an
interstate agreement.
