Numerous volunteer opportunities are available for students at hospitals, nursing homes, and community service organizations throughout the local area and elsewhere for students interested in health care.

Several suggestions:

• Villanova has many service organizations which you can join. There are many campus events throughout the year in which you can participate such as Balloon Day, Special Olympics and Up Til Dawn.
• Check the binders "Volunteer Opportunities" and AED Shadowing Programs located in the Health Related Science Advisor's office in Mendel 143.
• Make inquiries in your hometown area for local programs.
