Lecture Series

The History Department Lecture series seeks both to introduce Villanova students to current work in the history discipline and to cultivate scholarly ties between Villanova history faculty and other scholars in the region.

Each semester two to three scholars are invited to Villanova to give public lectures on a wide range of historical subjects, ranging from ethnic cleansing on the eastern front in World War I to American Catholics and the Vatican to colonial era slave culture on the island of Cuba.
