The Honors Program offers a four-year comprehensive major leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Honors (B.A.H.)
or Bachelor of Science, Honors (B.S.H.). Each degree represents the successful completion of a
rigorous curriculum of study, culminating in a five- or six-credit
Senior Thesis.
Students who do not seek the Honors degree may earn the
Honors Program Sequence in Liberal Studies (concentration), or may elect not to
pursue any of the formal certifications of the Program. Whatever their academic
plans, students may be members of the Honors Program, enroll in courses and
participate fully in all Program activities as long as they maintain a minimum
grade point average of 3.33 and enroll in an average of one Honors course every other semester.
