For Admission
The most important qualification is that you have a strong interest in the
Human Resources field. However, in order for our admissions department to
determine how successful you will be in the program, you must
submit a complete application.
Note: Students are selected wholly on the basis of individual merit. The
University does not discriminate against any students or applicants seeking
admission on the basis of their race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion
or sex.
For a Graduate Assistantship, University Scholarship or
Tabb Fellowship
For priority consideration, those applying for
assistantship or scholarship for the academic year should submit credentials by
March 15 to be considered for fall of that year. For consideration of a Graduate Assistant position, University Scholarship or
the Tabb Fellowship, the following are the minimum qualifications:
- Undergraduate G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher
- GRE Verbal score of 550 or higher
- GRE Qualitative score of 550 or higher
In the past, most of the individuals receiving these appointments average
about 3.65 undergraduate G.P.A. and about 1200 on the GRE's. HR experience is a plus, but will not exclude a person from consideration. This experience will
be seen in light of the current candidate's status, i.e., a person who has just
graduated from college who has done an internship in HR will be seen as an
additional positive. View more information about
scholarships, assistantships and fellowships.
