Calculus MAPLE Tutorials

These 9 tutorials were developed by the Villanova University Math Learning and Resource Center while Steve Chiacchiere was its director. The worksheets are all relatively small in size except for two which contain more graphics. It should probably be noted that Lisa Esposito initially wrote tutorials 1-6 and Briana Fox initially wrote tutorials 7-9, with alterations from Steve over the years.

  1. The Basics.
  2. Limits and Derivatives.
  3. Advanced Topics.
  4. Approximating Areas and Finding Exact Areas.
  5. Applications of Integration: Areas and Volumes.
  6. Sequences and Series.
  7. Parametric Equations and Polar, Cylindrical and Spherical Coordinates. [1.1 Meg]
  8. Vectors and Vector functions.
  9. Partial Derivatives and Multiple Integrals. [0.9 Meg]

One should also note the MAPLEsoft Applications Center tutorials for first year Calculus:

You can read the HTML versions of the worksheets, or download and execute the worksheets themselves or even open them directly in Internet Explorer (not Netscape) if you have MAPLE open from an executable image delivered to your through a local network (not citrixweb, where you have to download to your C: drive first).
