The department encourages students and other members of the Villanova community to take part in the language tables. This opportunity to practice French, German, Italian and Spanish in a laidback atmosphere is the result of cooperation between our department and the Villanova Center for Liberal Education (VCLE). Language tables are the best option to practice what you learned in class without the formalities of the classroom.

If you major in the language or have plans for study abroad, you won’t get a better chance to improve your skills while relaxing with a friendly group of people. Even if you don’t take a language class, these tables can help you keep whatever you learned in the past alive. You are welcome to the language tables to complement your classes, prepare for travel or refresh your knowledge of a foreign language. Or come simply to meet people with similar interests. Come and help us promote cosmopolitanism through language learning.
