Catholic Relief Services Internships
Each fall the Northeast Regional Office of Catholic Relief Services (CRS)
(located ten minutes from campus) offers a 3 credit academic internship
placement for a qualified "rising junior" in the College of Arts & Sciences. The
student intern must be available to work in the CRS office on Thursdays only,
from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. the entire semester. The intern will assist the CRS Justice
and Peace Liaison with research, preparing presentations, and materials for use
in CRS outreach. Catholic Relief Services is the international relief and

Labor Studies,
Penn State University Masters Program in
Industrial Relations and Human Resources
Penn State University’s Department of Labor
Studies and Employment Relations is accepting
applications for a two-year Graduate
Internship/Assistantship for a labor-oriented
student interested in pursuing a M.S. in IRHR
beginning Fall 2007. The
Internship/Assistantship includes a full-tuition
scholarship and a $7,600 yearly stipend. The
recipient performs 10 hours of work as a
research or teaching assistant for a faculty
member. The Department will also assist the
recipient in finding a summer internship with a
union. Applicants should have an interest in
unions and in pursuing a career in the labor
movement. Applications received by March 1 will
be assured of consideration. Applications will
continue to be accepted after March 1 until the
Internship/Assistantship is awarded. Candidate
must have completed a bachelors degree prior to
Fall 2007 and must apply and be accepted into

2007 to publicize the Spiritual Health Center,
the Adeodatus Support Group, the Amor Dei
Commitment and other spiritual opportunities, as

Villanova University Law School Clinic
Internship
There are a limited number of internships available
for junior and seniors with the Villanova
University Law School Clinical Program
Undergraduate interns work with law students in
the Law School Clinics who represent real
clients with real legal issues. The Clinical
Program has six clinics: the Civil Justice
Clinic; the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee and
Emigrant Services; the Farmworker Legal Aid
Clinic; the Federal Tax Clinic; the Juvenile
Justice Clinic; and the Advanced Advocacy

The Washington Center Internship:
Students may earn 15 hours of
academic credit working in the private, public
and nonprofit sector in Washington D.C. through
the Washington Center. The Washington Center is
affiliated with colleges and universities
nationwide. It places students in internships,
offers academic seminars and provides room and
board in the D.C. area.. Among its hundreds of
internship placements are: the U.S. Congress,
the U.S. Department of Commerce, CNN, Amnesty
International, the U.S. Commission on Civil
Rights, and the National Endowment for the Arts
