The MPA Director and Villanova's Career Services are happy to provide information related to career planning and employment opportunities.
The MPA Director consults with students and alumni regarding their career goals, course selection, interviewing approaches, among other topics, and routinely forwards employer notices about job opportunities.
For online information about jobs and careers, students and alums are encouraged
to visit the helpful links.
Students are strongly encouraged to visit Villanova's Career Services in 106 Corr Hall, as well as the
Career Services
web site. Career Services offers advice on resume writing, interviewing, and other job seeking strategies, and hosts a variety of special events, such as networking receptions, panel discussions, and job fairs.
Every graduate student is entitled to an account that permits access to on-line databases and other services.
Activating Your Account
Go to the Career Services home page and click on alumni.
- Click on the on-line form to request opening your account.
- Complete the on-line form and follow the other instructions. You will receive via email an ID and password.
- Once you have your account set-up, you can enter your "Experience" account to view on-line job postings.
Also be sure to look at the job search tools section of their site which has other internet links in various categories including government and non-profit employment. To find out information about Career Services special events scheduled throughout the academic year, click on students to view the program schedule.
