The Department of Political Science strongly supports International Studies
(or Study Abroad). Each semester, we have PSC majors going to Europe,
Latin America, Asia, or Africa. To study political philosophy in the land
of Machiavelli, Irish politics in Galway, or even American politics from the
viewpoint of another country are educationally exciting experiences.
Normally, you'd take 12 credits, with some of them being in other fields as
well. We cooperate closely with our
Office of
International Studies. Courses taken abroad on international relations
and comparative politics become a valuable part of your education in politics
and count toward our certificate or
concentration in International Relations.
