Students become members by joining the chapter at the school where they are enrolled. At Villanova, all eligible undergraduate and graduate students are invited to join each spring.
Invitations are typically issued by mail during March, and inductees are invited to participate in our annual Banquet, during which an induction ceremony occurs.
Undergraduate Psychology Majors
The requirements for membership are:
- Completion of at least 12 semester hours of psychology, including at least 2 core courses in the major
- An overall GPA of at least 3.5 and a psychology GPA of at least 3.0

Graduate Students
The requirements for membership are:
- Completion of at least 9 semester hours of coursework in the M.S. program
- A GPA of at least 3.75 OR
- A GPA of at least 3.5 and recommendation by a faculty member for
producing a research contribution of some note
