The Department of Theological and Religious Studies is an academic faculty within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of Villanova University, a University with a Roman Catholic and Augustinian heritage. We place special significance on the study of the Christian traditions in general, and Roman Catholicism in particular, while emphasizing the meaning and values of religion and religious traditions in an ecumenical context.

Our department includes Undergraduate Programs in which you may obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and Religious Studies as well as a minor, a Graduate Program in which you may obtain a Master's degree in Theology, and a Five-Year Program in which you may obtain a combined Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies and Master of Arts in Theology.
