Once you complete the required course work for a Minor in Theology and Religious Studies, Villanova University recognizes the Minor degree at the time of graduation on your official transcript. We encourage you to come to our office in the Saint Augustine Center, Room 107, to discuss your particular interests and plan your course work.

Program Requirements

• To fulfill requirements for the Minor of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies, you must take 6 courses by our department for a total of 18 credit hours. The requirements include one introductory course and five elective courses.
   
• To fulfill the requirement for the introductory course, choose any one of the courses, THL 1050 - Christian Theology: An Intro or THL 1051 - Christianity in History
   
• To fulfill the requirement for the elective courses, choose five courses from the remaining Theology and Religious Studies course offerings. We highly recommend the five courses required for the major.
