During the 2006-2007 academic year, thanks to a generous grant from VITAL,
the VCLE hosted a series of five (5) faculty development workshops geared toward
(re-)introducing materials and techniques helpful for teaching Augustine and his
thought in ACS-1000 (ACS: Traditions in Conversations) as well as integrating
central Augustinian Themes into ACS-1001 (ACS: Modernity and Its Discontents).
