A vital aspect of the mission of the Center for Marketing and
Public Policy Research is to foster
relationships among industry leaders, lawmakers, regulators, the
legal profession, and consumer groups. In addition, the center
strives to expose business students at Villanova to
thought leaders in marketing and public policy.
Towards this end, the center sponsors a variety of events,
including lectures, industry forums, conferences, and networking
programs on the Villanova campus and at outside venues.

Policy Conference at the Villanova School of Business. The
conference will examine current issues and trends in
marketing and public policy from the perspectives of
business, government, and academic.

- Distinguished Speakers Series
The Distinguished Speakers Series brings a variety of industry, government, and academic experts
to campus to speak with business leaders active in the center,
as well as faculty and students. Recent speakers include former
U.S. Representative Michael G. Oxley, co-author of the landmark
Sarbanes-Oxley Act; Suzanne Petrella, Vice President of
Corporate Accounts at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems;
Professor David Stewart, Editor of the Journal of the Academy of
Marketing Science; and Stephen J. McConnell, Esq., of the Dechert, LLP
law firm.
