The Department of Management and Operations at the Villanova School of
Business solicits applications for an assistant/associate professor
tenure track position and a continuing non-tenure track assistant
professor position, both in the area of Busziness Analytics to begin in
the Fall of 2012. For the tenure track position, all candidates are
welcome but candidates with at least three years experience beyond their
PhD with a strong record of high quality research and strong performance
in the classroom are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates will
be expected to contribute to the scholarly community by publishing in
high quality journals. Candidates are expected to have earned a PhD in
Management Science, Operations Management or related area. The teaching
load for this position will be 2 courses per semester. For the
continuing non-tenure track position, candidates should possess strong
teaching ability. This position has the potential for a multi-year
contract. Preferred teaching responsibilities for both positions will be
our applied Business Analytics course which is the third course in a
three-course quantitative sequence (Calculus, Statistics, and Analytics)
required of all undergraduate business students. Other desirable
qualifications include the ability and interest in teaching our required
operations management course and/or teaching analytics at the Master’s
or Executive levels. Teaching loads and salary for both positions will
