VSB faculty regularly host and attend research events.

VSB hosted the 2008 American Marketing Association's Marketing and Public Policy Conference in Philadelphia as well as a preconference workshop for doctoral students on the Villanova campus.

In November 2007, Marketing & Business Law at VSB hosted the Direct Marketing Educators' Symposium for the third consecutive year. The symposium had nearly 100 attendees and included an international webcast to over 80 universities.

In 2007, VSB hosted a research luncheon at the American Marketing Association's Marketing and Public Policy Conference in Washington, D C.

The VSB Center for Marketing and Public Policy Research provides a Distinguished Speaker Series. Recent speakers include former FBI director Louis Freeh and internationally-renowned scholars David Webb, Eunju Ko, and Manfred Schwaiger.

Faculty members also participate in the American Marketing Association's Summer and Winter Educators' Conferences and the Association of Consumer Research Conference.
