Some of VSB's most significant public policy contributions have been in the areas of food, pharmaceuticals, and financial services. The goal of this research is to have a positive and tangible influence on public policy development at the local, state, and national levels. VSB faculty regularly host and attend research events. Recent events hosted by VSB include the Direct Marketing Educators' Symposium in 2007 and the 2008 American Marketing Association's Marketing and Public Policy Conference.
