We welcome your increased involvement in VSB’s work during this exciting time in our school’s history! We are pleased to share with you some of the strategic initiatives at our school. Some of the highlights of the exciting momentum we have gained through a number of recent accomplishments:

  • placing #13 in BusinessWeek's ranking of the top business schools in the nation;
  • creating new awards to support faculty research and teaching excellence;
  • implementing organizational changes to move the school ahead;
  • gaining a dramatic increase in national media coverage;
  • achieving exceptional career placement and salary rates for our graduates; and
  • undertaking comprehensive strategic reviews.

One of our key objectives has been to gain national recognition for the college as a premier business school, and to leverage our undergraduate program and our multidimensional faculty to do as such. This higher level of national recognition helps to:

  • increase the value of degrees already earned by our alumni;
  • build our prestige among prospective students nationwide;
  • raise awareness of our graduates among corporate recruiters; and
  • enhance our credibility within the academic community—thereby enabling us to attract and retain the most talented faculty members.
