MSF 2012-13 Schedule

The MSF summer program begins on Tuesday, May 22 with a full-day Orientation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Students progress through the program as a cohort, taking all classes together. There is no need to register for classes at any point during the program as the Graduate Business Office completes registration and communicates schedule and confirmation with students via Villanova email.

In the email containing the last semester’s schedule, students receive a Prospective Graduate Form that they must then complete and return. Students must have completed all courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 to be eligible for graduation and awarded a degree.

MSF 8610: Financial Markets & Institutions; MSF 8615: Derivatives;
MSF 8620 Applied Corporate Finance; MSF 8640: Portfolio Theory & Application.

August 27 -  Classes Begin
September 3 - NO CLASSES/Labor Day, Last Day of Drop/Add courses
October 15-19 - NO CLASSES/Fall Break
October 22 - Classes Resume
November 20 - Thanksgiving Recess begins after last class
November 26 - Classes Resume
December 13 - Final Day of Classes
December 14 - Reading Day
December 15-21 - Final Examinations (No exams on Sunday, December 16)
 

Spring Semester 2013: January 14 - May 10

January 14 - Classes Begin
January 21 - NO CLASSES/Martin Luther King Day, Last Day for dropping and/or adding classes
March 1 - Mid-Term
March 4-8 - NO CLASSES/Semester Recess
March 11 - Classes Resume
March 27 - Easter Recess begins after last class
April 2 - Classes Resume
May 2 - Final Day of Classes
May 3 - Reading Day
May 4-10 - Final Examinations (No exams on Sunday, May 5)
May 18-19 - Baccalaureate and Commencement
