PMBA Curriculum

The PMBA curriculum was recently revamped to emphasize technology integration, cross-functional problem solving, teamwork, and strategic decision making. The curriculum will:

  • Help you learn to identify problems and devise potential solutions.
  • Teach you how to effectively employ technology to make and implement decisions.
  • Develop and nurture your ethical decision making and social responsibility skills.
  • Increase your ability to adapt to a rapidly changing domestic and global business environment.
Our curriculum emphasizes technology integration, cross-functional problem solving, teamwork, and strategic decision making.

Program Structure

To fulfill the PMBA degree requirements, you must complete a minimum of 40 credit hours, including:

  • Leadership Challenge (2 credits)
  • Advanced core courses (24 credits)
  • Electives (12 credits)
  • Basic core courses and/or prerequisite courses (up to 20 additional credits) are required depending on your academic background. Some courses may be waived based upon your undergraduate coursework; contingent upon receiving a grade of 'B' or better in select courses.
  • At least one semester of college-level calculus and basic computer skills (i.e., word processing, databases, and spreadsheets).

Specializations are available in Finance, Health Care Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, and Marketing, or you may follow the Corporate Management track and receive a general MBA.
