VSB Ranked Among Best in Nation by
The Princeton Review; Places #9 for Quality
of Campus Environment

VILLANOVA, Pa., October 6, 2009 – The Villanova School of Business has been honored as one of the best business schools in the nation by The Princeton
Review in its 2010 book, The Best 301 Business Schools, which hits news stands
today. In the book, The Princeton Review ranks the best graduate business
schools among those that have an MBA program and are accredited by the
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). There are nearly
2,000 such schools in the United States today. The Villanova School of Business’
MBA Program was noted for the quality of professors, convenience for working
professionals, strength of the alumni network and the overall reputation of the
School.
The Princeton Review compiles the information for The Best 301 Business Schools
from its surveys of 19,000 students attending the 301 schools and from
school-reported data. “This is ranking is important because it truly is the
voice of our students,” said Robert Bonner, Associate Dean for Graduate and
Executive Programs. “And the fact that are students recognize our professors for
their strength in connecting theory with practice in the classroom, the strong
peers with whom students are in class and the and the strength of our alumni
network is important.”
In addition to being cited for strong faculty, a strong alumni network and
strong reputation, VSB ranked # 9 for Quality of Campus Environment which is the
safety and convenience of the school. Students noted the School’s on-grounds
dining and coffee shops, the something and the something (things that speak to
convenience / environ).
In addition to being ranked by Princeton Review VSB’s MBA Programs have been
ranked among the best in the nation by BusinessWeek and the Financial Times.
Villanova University is a co-educational Roman Catholic institution founded
by the Order of Saint Augustine in 1842. The Villanova School of Business serves
over 2,500 students across its undergraduate and graduate programs. It is home
to faculty research centers including the Innovation, Creativity, and
Entrepreneurship Center, the Center for Global Leadership, the Center for
Marketing and Public Policy Research, the Center for the Study of Church
Management, and the Daniel M. DiLella Center for Real Estate.
