Nation by Financial Times

VILLANOVA, PA, 30 October 2008—The Executive MBA program at the
Villanova School of Business (VSB) has been ranked 24th in the nation by
Financial Times. The 2008 ranking positions VSB two places ahead of its
standing one year ago.
In the eight years since its creation, the Executive program at VSB has swiftly
progressed in academic prestige and recognition. The curriculum of this
selective MBA program for executive leaders is focused on systems thinking—an
approach to creative decision making within complex business environments.
The Financial Times ranking focuses on performance categories of
particular importance within the executive MBA marketplace, including average
alumni salaries after graduation. Within this category, VSB placed #12 among
US-based programs and #28 in the world. In addition, Financial Times
ranks the work experience of executive MBA participants and VSB earned the #1
spot for the Philadelphia market in this category.
VSB’s Executive MBA program is poised for continued success under the leadership
of new Associate Dean, Robert Bonner. Bonner states, “In August, we enrolled the
largest and most internationally experienced cohort in the history of the EMBA
program and we have just launched an Executive Development initiative through a
strategic partnership with global talent management firm Lee Hecht Harrison. I
am confident that these developments will continue to position the VSB EMBA
among the best in the world.”
The Villanova School of Business Executive MBA Program is a 21-month program
offered every other Friday and Saturday. When classes are in session,
participants study and reside at The Villanova Conference Center in Radnor,
Pennsylvania, 12 miles west of Philadelphia. The program includes a rigorous
international study trip. Faculty members in the program are multidimensional
experts who excel in teaching, research, and the practice of business.
