Become a Peer Counselor

VSB students are invited to apply to become a Peer Counselor (PC) in the spring of their sophomore year. PC's advise for three semesters.

Some of the benefits of being a VSB Peer Counselor include:

  • Develop leadership skills
  • Mentor underclass students
  • Participate in professional development activities for free
  • Exclusive access to the Peer Counselor office—not only a great place to meet with your advisees, but also a quiet place to get your own work done.
  • Give back to VSB

Once selected as a Peer Counselor, a student will serve in that role throughout his/her junior and senior year and agree to fulfill the Peer Counselor expectations.
