Minors and Requirements


Choosing to pursue a minor field of study both expands your business knowledge and expands your opportunities in the job market. Learn more about opportunities and requirements for pursuing a minor at the Villanova School of Business:

Business Minors for Business Majors

Students in the Villanova School of Business may choose from the following business minors. The course requirements listed are to be completed in addition to the core business courses required of all students in the School. Students should check the catalog for any prerequisites needed.

    Note: If you have two years of a foreign language in high school, the foreign language requirement is waived.

* IB minors are required to take an international course in their major discipline if such course is offered. An international course in each major is required if a student has more than one major. This course will also satisfy a major elective requirement.

    Note: For students in the Class of 2012 and 2013, ENT 2021 - Entrepreneurship Mkt also fulfills a marketing minor elective. In addition, one of the following will fulfill a marketing minor requirement:

Non-business Minors for Business Majors

Students enrolled in the Villanova School of Business may pursue minors in programs offered by other schools throughout the university, including the honors program. Detailed information on the process for approval may be obtained in the department that oversees the minor field of study.
