Balloon Day is a Campus Ministry sponsored event, and is a time for the Villanova Community to come together in the Spring to celebrate a day of giving back to those who are less fortunate.

In 1973, Balloon Day was founded by Father Ray Jackson to foster community Spirit, have fun, and raise funds for a local charity. Every April, the campus comes alive with arches of colorful balloons to welcome persons with disabilities and children from nearby schools who come to campus to participate in the festivities.
