HHAW Mission

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (HHAW) is a campus-wide event grounded in a "preferential option for the poor."

It seeks to:

  • Raise awareness about global poverty, hunger and homelessness.
  • Fundraise for international relief and development organizations.
  • Provide an opportunity for Villanova students to combine education with action.
  • Promote a deeper understanding of what it means to live out the Gospel and the Augustinian values of peace and justice.

This week brings to life the words of Pope Paul VI: "If you want peace, work for justice."
