| Program Requirements |
General Requirements:
- Utilize the gifts, talents, and expertise of Campus Ministry throughout
the semester
- Introduce yourself to the residents in your building and begin to
establish trusting relationships
- Participate in Campus Ministry staff meetings, Intern group meetings,
Theological Reflections, and other committee meetings as required by the
Executive Director
- Attend Residence Life area and building meetings when possible; work
collaboratively with Residence Life staff in your building, and on campus
Program Requirements:
- Regular one-on-one meetings with Supervisor of Internship
Program; submit weekly work log.
- Serve as advisor for a Fall & Spring break service trip; support
your leaders in the weeks up until break, attend group meetings (as many as
possible)
- Plan and facilitate evenings of spiritual reflections (3 in the fall
semester, 4 in the spring semester) with students in your residence
hall.
- Facilitate Fright Night on Halloween and Thanksgiving turkey Drive.
- Collaborate with team of Interns in planning the Freshmen Escape
retreats
- Plan and carry out the 10-Spot Program. This fulfills one
requirement for a Residence Hall liturgy and/or evenings of spiritual
reflection
- Plan a residence hall liturgy each semester
- Create and facilitate a weekly faith sharing Get Real Group.
- Invite and encourage students to accompany you to Sunday evening Masses;
attend all University large Masses
- Invite and encourage students to attend University events such as Huger
and Homelessness Awareness Week, Special Olympics, Balloon Day, etc.
