| The VESTED -Mentor Academy is a strategic initiative
that aims to impact students, faculty and staff and the community through
its innovative engineering curriculum. The College of Engineering
is strongly committed to creating a diverse community and providing quality
underrepresented students access to a Villanova education based on Augustinian
principles. Through this program the College supports its commitment to
increase diversity in the engineering's science and technology professions.
High School Teacher Workshop
The College of Engineering hosts a Math/Science Technology High School
Teacher Workshop in the summer. Attendees teach at high schools from Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, and Delaware. The purpose of the workshop is to provide the
participants with instructional resources appropriate for high
school curricula pertaining to the electrical engineering and computer engineering
professions.
