Instructor Bio

Dr. Frank J. Mercede, P.E. received his BSEE (first honors, magna cum laude), MSEE, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 1981, 1983, and 1989, respectively. Dr. Mercede has been a full-time instructor in Electrical Engineering since 1988 and has served on the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at Villanova University since 1996. Dr. Mercede has published and consulted in the areas of power system protection and power quality. He has been a registered professional engineer in the state of Pennsylvania since 1984
