The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department in the College of
Engineering was the first to offer an online master's degree at the university.
During the Fall of 2003, the on-line feature was added to the long standing
evening masters program to create an interactive class environment. This
unique program allows you the opportunity to earn one of two degrees, depending
on your undergraduate background. Please see the website or catalog for
the degree requirements. The degrees are:

MSWREE - Master of Science in Water Resources and Environmental
Engineering

MSCE - Master of Science in Civil Engineering
The department also offers a certificate, composed of 4 of the courses
from the catalog. Should you choose to continue your education beyond the
certificate, these courses also count towards your master's degree. Currently,
